Eleanor Duffin
bio
Eleanor Duffin was born in Wexford in 1980, and currently lives and works in Dublin. After graduating from Limerick School of Art and Design with a BA in Sculpture and Combined Media in 2003, she went on to complete a two-year Masters program at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She is currently an artist-in-residence at the Fire Station Artists Studio, Dublin.

She has exhibited both in Ireland and internationally. Her work has been included most recently in Dark Energy, Firestation Studios, Dublin (2011), Radical Love II, Dublin (2011), Transference, Broadstone Gallery, Dublin (2011), and Little Constellation Archive, NUA: New Contemporary Arts and Research, The Republic of San Marino (ongoing).
Duffin has also been selected for a number of residencies including SIM (2012/2009), European Artists TV, Hallefors, Sweden (2008); Building Site, Vathorst, Amersfoort, The Netherlands (2005); Young Artists at CERN, CERN Institute of Research, Geneva, Switzerland (2004).
In the summer of 2013, she will commence a two month stay as international artist in residence at Gertrude Contemporary in Melbourne, Australia.
